Govt Urged To Reassure Progress Of Clare Offshore Wind Projects Following Sceirde Withdrawal

It’s claimed the Government has questions to answer over the future of offshore wind projects on Clare’s coast following Corio’s decision to shelve the Sceirde Rocks scheme over engineering challenges.

It’s understood that recent site explorations revealed the windfarm would not be resilient enough during an extreme weather event.
