The Government is being called on to acquire Barrington’s Hospital for use as a second MidWest A&E.
The 53-bed Limerick City facility, established in 1829, has officially been listed for sale today with a guide price of €12.5m.

Ennis Fianna Fáil Councillor Clare Colleran-Molloy believes acquiring the building is an open goal for the Health Minister to alleviate pressure in the MidWest.
