Government Urged To Protect Post Office Network

The government is being called on to put in place a strategy to ensure the long-term survival of the Post Office network.

An Oireachtas committee will hear later this morning how increasing the role of the Post Office payments system could save taxpayers 53 million euro.

Today’s Transport and Communications meeting will also be addressed by An Post.
