The TEEU – which represents craft and construction workers – says the Lansdowne Road Agreement needs to be replaced.

It's to discuss this and related matters at a conference over the next two days.

Yesterday, SIPTU announced it will ballot its members on industrial action if the government doesn't agree within the week to fresh pay talks.

TEEU General Secretary Paddy Kavanagh, says his union will consult with members if the government won't engage.
