The latest homeless figures have prompted renewed calls for the Government to declare a national emergency.
More than 8,800 people were homeless in November, with 33-hundred children in emergency accomodation across the country.

In Clare, the number of homeless adults rose by one last month, with an increase of six in the number of children without a permanent roof over their heads.
