The loans were announced earlier today in Brussels and it's expected they will be used for 30 prevention and protection projects around Ireland over the next 5 years.

The money will be managed by the Office of Public Works.

Meanwhile the ESB says the flow of water through Parteen Weir will remain at 335 cubic metres per second today as water levels continue to stablise.
