The Government has put the brakes on plans for a Vegas-style super-casino in Co. Tipperary.
The Justice Minister has revealed details of new gambling legislation – expected to be brought in next year.

Alan Shatter says projects like the so-called ‘Tipperary Venue’ are not favoured by Cabinet and no such provisions will be made for them.
And he says modest sized casinos and establishments operating as private members clubs will be regulated.
