Over 6,000 people in Clare have shared in additional government support payments worth over €2.8 million euro.
The payments, averaging out at 450 each, have been paid out as arrears in respect of the pandemic unemployment payment.

Over 129 million euro in payments have been made nationally.
The latest figures show 7,500 people here received pandemic unemployment supports yesterday, a figure that is broadly in line with last week, although it is expected that this number will fall next week following yesterday’s re-opening of retail outlets.
