Two senior government Ministers will visit Clare today, a week ahead of the local elections.

Education Minister Ruairi Quinn travels to a number of the county's schools, including Ennis National School where he will preside over it's official opening.
He's also due in Meelick, Quin and Tulla, having announced funding for projects in those areas over recent months.
Meanwhile, Environment Minister Phil Hogan is to address a Shannon Chamber of Commerce, while he's also expected to visit Carrigaholt for talks on new sewerage facilities.
