A number of government ministers are seeking a free vote on a bill allowing abortion in the case of fatal foetal abnormalities.

The Irish Times reports Independent Alliance Ministers are urging the Taoiseach to allow a free vote on the issue.
A bill on abortion in certain cases has been brought by Independent TD Mick Wallace and will be debated in the Dáil next week.
