Government Minister Says No Guarantee Of Data Protection On Public Services Card

The Minister for Social Protection says she can’t guarantee the protection of data from hackers.

Regina Doherty was responding to concerns over the collection of the data for the Public Services Card.

It comes following a backlash against the plans to force the card’s use from opposition parties.
