Gov admits bailout still possible with no vote

The Tánaiste  says Ireland could apply to the IMF for a second bailout – even if we vote No to the EU Treaty referendum.

But he says we don’t know if they would give us money – or how much it might cost.

Eamon Gilmore made the comments as the Labour Party’s official campaign calling for a Yes vote in the May 31st referendum got underway.

It comes after an article in the Sunday Times which said the IMF could lend us money – even if the Treaty is rejected.

But the Tánaiste  says whilst we could apply for an IMF loan – there is no guarantee we would get it:
