Glór is celebrating it’s 21st birthday this weekend.
Since opening its doors in 2001, more than 950,000 people have attended over 8,200 ticketed performances and events at the threatre in Ennis.
To celebrate the milestone event, glór is presenting a 21st birthday concert tomorrow night, featuring guests from Clare and beyond, celebrating its creative community through music, dance and word.
John Quinlivan was among those who brought the concept of glór to life.
Speaking as part of a special broadcast on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, he said it was cooperation and support from a number of stakeholdes that got the project off the ground.
