Element Six, an industrial diamond manufacturer based in the Shannon Industrial Estate, has revealed the investment along with the announcement of 100 new manufacturing and engineering jobs at the facility.
It will bring the numbers employed there to double that in 2009, when the company was on the brink of closure.
Walter Huhn admits that measures taken during the global economic downturn have allowed the plant to survive.
