The Justice Minister has branded the fatal shooting of a teenage girl in Dublin as horrific, and says these types of incidents will not be tolerated.
The 16 year old victim was sitting in a parked car at Brookview Way in Jobstown at twenty five to eleven last night when shots were fired from a passing vehicle.

The girl was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.
An incident room has been set up at Tallaght Garda station and Alan Shatter says he expects to get a briefing from the Garda Commissioner on the case later.
Minister Shatter has extended his sympathy to the girl’s family, and called for anyone with information to contact Gardai.
