History will be made in the Shannon Estuary today as the largest cruise liner ever to visit the area arrives into port.
The 37,000 tonne Prinsendam (PRIN-ZEN-DAM) cruise ship will dock at the port of Foynes, carrying 400 crew and 835 passengers who’ll be visiting Clare’s main tourist attractions this weekend.
