454 members of the Bundestag supported the 86 billion euro package – with 113 voting against the wishes of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble warned MPs it would be 'irresponsible' to reject the bailout – even though he admitted there is 'no guarantee' the measures will work.
The bailout needs to be finalised by tomorrow to give Athens the money to make a 3-point-2 billion euro debt repayment to the ECB.
