The Deputy Chief Executive of Clare County Council has been appointed the new CEO of the Irish Greyhound Board.

Ger Dollard, who is also the Director of Economic Development within the local authority, has played a key role in developing and promoting Clare’s tourism product at home and abroad.

The Irish Independent reports that the Irish Greyhound Board confirmed last evening that the Limerick native has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, after Geraldine Larkin stepped down from the role last year.
