The Chief Executive Officer of Gatwick Airport has issued an apology, after flight information for Shannon was wrongly displayed as Limerick.
An investigation has been carried out, after the error was displayed on the UK airport’s departure board last weekend.

It’s understood a recent IT update on one of their systems wrongly pulled through flight information for Shannon.
In response to a query from Clare Fianna Fáil TD Cathal Crowe, Gatwick Airport CEO Stewart Wingate says they’ve corrected the error on the system and he’s reassured that all future flights to Shannon will be correctly displayed.
