Gardaí are warning motorists that a section of the main road from Kilrush to Kilkee will remain closed until further notice following a road traffic accident.
The N67 coast road through Lisdeen is currently cordoned off and diversions are in place.

One unit from Kilrush Garda Station is present, as well as members of Clare’s Fire and Rescue Service.
It’s not yet known how many vehicles are involved or if there are any injuries.
