Gardai warn motorists of dangers over bank Holiday Weekend.

Motorists heading out over the bank holiday are being told to leave the car keys behind.

Clare Gardai say the number of drink driving arrests over the long weekends has fallen considerably year on year but is warning against complacency.

Extra checkpoints are being set up around the county and there’s an increased garda presence out on the roads.
