Gardaí are warn road users that Friday is the most dangerous day of the week

Senior officers say nearly a quarter of all fatal road traffic accidents this year have happened on a Friday with 2pm and 6pm the most dangerous time to be on the roads.
Gardaí are stressing that they would like the public to work with them, but also that enforcement of the rules of the road is on the increase.
