Gardaí Urge People To Keep Homes Safe In Hot Spell Crime Spree

As the hot spell continues, Gardaí in Clare are urging people not to make their home a target for criminals.

They’re urging people not to leave windows or doors unlocked while the house is unattended and are warning that a number of signs act as a signal for opportunist thefts.

These include leaving lights on all day long, blinds or curtains pulled during the day, a build up of letters or flyers in the letterbox and uncut or untidy lawns.
