Gardaí are treating as “malicious”, a criminal damage incident in Ennis over the weekend.
Sometime between 1 and 1:30 on Sunday afternoon, a number of bins were set on fire in the laneway to the rear of the Roslevan Shopping Centre, to the rear of Murphy’s Pharmacy and Molloy Butchers.

Units from Clare County Fire & Rescue Service and Gardaí were dispatched to the scene and a garda investigation is now underway.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed anything suspicious, or who may have information in relation to this crime to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
