Gardaí are attempting to prosecute a premises in Clare for the illegal sale of alcohol to persons under the age of 18.
In advance of Junior Certificate results night, community Gardaí have carried out a test purchase operation at licensed premises in the county.

It’s understood the majority of premises were compliant and passed.
Gardaí say however that a “prosecution is pending” for one premises which was subject to the test.
