Clare cyclists caught committing an offence will be cautioned by Gardaí this week, ahead of the introduction of new fixed charge notices next week.

Gardaí will be out in force over the coming days, as part of an awareness and education initiative which aims to make cyclists aware of the responsibilities.
From July 31st, anyone caught committing one of 22 offences will be fined €40.
