Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald has called for saturation policing, with multiple rolling checkpoints and patrols to be set up.
Minister Fitzgerald met with the Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan earlier – and said that they are aware of the threat of further reprisals.
