Gardai targetting an organised drugs gang are searching a number of premises in Dublin.
Up to 80 gardai are involved in raids on ten private residences in the Kevin Street and Pearse Street areas.
The raids at ten addresses are part of an investigation into an organised crime gang involved in the distribution, sale and supply of controlled drugs in Dublin City Centre and adjoining suburbs.
The operation which got underway at 7am, are being led by detective units at Kevin Street and Kilmainham.
The massive operation also involves gardai from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau; Special Detective Unit and Criminal Assets Bureau.
Members of the dog unit, divisional crimes of scene unit and South Central Divisional Task Force are also taking part.
