Gardaí have seized a vehicle in Ennis this afternoon after targeting the suspects of a number of thefts in the area.
Earlier today, a silver Volkswagen Passat was stopped in Wood Quay Car Park as Gardaí believed the occupants were involved in a spate of recent thefts in the town.

Upon inspection, the car had no tax or NCT, the driver was uninsured and the the tyre thread depths were well below the legal limits.
The vehicle was seized and the driver will appear in court for traffic and theft offences.
