Gardaí have seized two more vehicles during a routine operation in East Clare.
On Tuesday afternoon, Gardaí patrolling Scariff, from the Nenagh District, intercepted a Mini One Hatchback, which was being driven without insurance.

The unit then encountered a Ford C-Max, which had a number of children on board and was being driven by an unaccompanied learner driver.
The car was seized under the Clancy Amendment, introduced in 2015 specifically to tackle unaccompanied learners; both motorists will face court at a later date.
