Gardaí have seized the car of an uninsured driver in Mountshannon this morning.
While officers from Killaloe station were conducting a speed checkpoint in Scariff the Garda Mobility Device flagged the car as having no insurance.

Once the driver of the car was stopped, it was discovered they also had no valid license and three outstanding bench warrants.
The car was seized and the motorist has been charged to appear before court at a later date.
