Gardaí are seeking CCTV or dash cam footage following the theft of a spate of cars in Ennis and Shannon.
A car parked on a public road in Steele’s Terrace, Lifford was taken sometime between 7 o’clock last Wednesday evening and 8am the following morning.
A second car; a black Toyota Aqua Hatchback was taken from the Clon Road in Ennis between 3 o’clock on Thursday afternoon and 1 o’clock on Friday.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Catriona Holohan has details of a third incident in Shannon.
“Shannon Gardaí are investigating the theft of a silver Toyota Aqua at 2.30pm on Thursday afternoon from Lidl car-park in Shannon town centre.
“Witnesses reported to Gardaí that a second vehicle pulled up beside the silver Toyota Aqua, broke into the vehicle and drove it away.
We are appealing to anyone that may have witnessed this incident or may have Dashcam footage or CCTV footage to please contact Shannon Garda Station on 061 365900”.
