Gardaí are making a fresh appeal for the public’s help in tracing a young woman, after her horse struck a man out walking in Lahinch late last year.
At around 2 o’clock on Sunday, October 24th, a man in his forties was walking on the Liscannor side of the beach, close to O’Brien’s Bridge when he was struck by a horse, resulting in him needing medical attention.

A young woman in her late teens, who was with the horse, is believed to have left in the direction of Liscannor.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Triona Brooks is appealing for information.
