Over 4,000 speeding tickets were issued in Clare last year.

In correspondance with Clare County Council, Superintendent Brendan McDonagh of the Clare Garda Division has revealed that just under 1,800 drivers were caught speeding by Gardaí last year.
A further 2,300 cases of speeding were uncovered by the Garda Speed Van.
Meanwhile, 72 fines were issued to drivers who were found to have illegally parked in spaces reserved for motorists with disabilities.
