Gardai have renewed their appeal for information following the death of Polish national Peter Nowakowski in Ennis last week.

The 31 year old died from stab wounds in the early hours of last Tuesday following an incident at an appartment in Sandfield Mews near Ennis General Hospital.
39 year old Michael Maughan of 20 Stone Court, Ennis is charged with the murder of Mr Nowakowski while his 21 year old brother Darren Maughan – of the same address -has been charged with the assault of another man during the same incident.
At Ennis District Court today they were further remanded in custody until the 12th of August
