The incident happened on the 15th August last around 12.30 when a man wearing a ski mask and carrying a shotgun, entered the post office and shouted at staff to hand over money.

The culprit escaped empty handed and fled the scene in a silver car.
Gardai in Ennis arrested a 25 year old man in the town yesterday in connection with the incident and he is being detained at Ennis Garda Station.
