Gardai in Limerick are continuing to question a man in connection with a shooting in Newcastle West yesterday, during which two people were injured.

A brother and a sister were injured in the Castleview Estate at about 3.30 pm.
The lone gunman fled the scene – and the pair were hospitalised with non life-threatening injuries.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this morning.
