Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question a man and woman in connection with the shooting of Christy Keane.

The 54 year old is continuing to receive treatment in hospital following the incident on the University of Limerick campus on Monday morning.
A woman her mid 20's was arrested last evening in connection with the attack – under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
While a man arrested on Tuesday as part of investigations remains at Henry Street Garda Station in the city – under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
