Gardaí are searching for the occupants of a car it’s believed was used during the commission of two burglaries in North Clare.
On Sunday night, two men attempted to forcefully enter a retail premises in Inagh village shortly after 11 o’clock before being deterred by the owner and fleeing the scene in a beige Lexus.
The second burglary took place at a retail premises on the Main Street in Ennistymon, when two men damaged the front door of a shop and subsequently fled the scene in a beige Lexus in the direction of Ennis.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Catriona Holohan is appealing for information on the incidents.
“Ennistymon Gardaí are appealing to anyone that may have observed this vehicle travelling towards Inagh before 11pm on Sunday night or on route to Ennis after 11.20pm.
