Gardaí investigating the shooting of a 42-year-old man in Limerick yesterday have made an arrest.

Detectives say the victim was hit by a man on a bike, who opened fire as he approached a premises on the Hyde Road, at around 2 in the afternoon.
Gardaí later arrested a 22 year old – they also recovered a gun and ammunition.
The man arrested is being held at Roxboro Road Garda Station.
The victim was rushed to Limerick University Hospital but his injuries aren't believed to be life threatening.
