Gardaí Issue Road Safety Advice Ahead Of Halloween Bank Holiday

Gardaí will be out on force on Clare’s roads this weekend to crack down on speeding and other road offences.

It’s in an effort to curb road accidents after 10 people have been killed and 40 people seriously injured over the past six October Bank Holiday weekends.

Along with drink-driving, seatbelt wearing and the use of mobile phones while driving are among the most detected offences.

While, Gardaí will also be carrying out roadside tests for drug-driving and are urging people to make sure they are fit for the road.
