Gardaí are continuing to appeal for information about a serious assault in Clarecastle that took place over the weekend.
It’s understood a man was pursued through a garage shop on Sunday morning where he was attacked and sustained serious injuries to his arm.

The man was taken to University Hospital Limerick for treatment afterwards.
