Clare Gardaí are warning motorists throughout the county that they will be out in force this Bank Holiday weekend.

Extra congestion is expected on the county’s roads network from this afternoon and evening, ahead of the first long weekend of the year.
As a result, Gardaí are urging motorists to give themselves extra time, to obey speed limits and not to drink and drive.
While conditions this weekend are expected to be warmer than earlier this week, Head of the Traffic Corp in the Clare Garda Division Inspector John Galvin is urging drivers to be wary of dangerous road conditions this weekend.
