A Garda investigation is underway into a shooting incident in Clarecastle.
The incident is believed to have occured at approximately 6.30pm last evening.

A man in his 40s was taken to University Hospital Hospital for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
No arrests have been made at this time and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Ennis Garda Station on 065 68 48 100.
