Gardai are investigating after a number of shots were fired in Ennis this afternoon.
It’s understood a firearm was discharged in the Beech Park area at around 2.45pm.
Gardai say they’re investigating shots being fired earlier today.
They say no one was injured in the incident and that while no arrests have been made, investigations are ongoing.
It follows an incident of a firearm being discharged in Cloughleigh last month, though it’s not yet known if these two incidents are related.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to today’s incident to come forward.
They are appealing for anyone who was in the area and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) to make this available.
