A Garda investigation is underway into an incident of criminal damage at a Clare premises that has been earmarked to house asylum seekers.
It’s understood the incident happened at the Central B&B on Henry Street, Kilrush in the early hours of yesterday morning.
There have been no reports of any injuries.

On Tuesday, the Department of Integration confirmed that David English Electrical Rewinds LTD, the owner of the B&B had signed a one-year contract to provide accommodation for up to 27 International Protection Applicants.
