Gardaí are investigating the cause of a fire at a derelict property in Ennis early today.
The blaze, at a house on Cloughleigh Road, was reported shortly after 11.00am.
Three units of the fire brigade from Ennis responded to the incident after the Regional Fire Control Centre in Limerick received multiple calls about the fire.
Gardaí also attended the call and closed the road so fire crews could deal with the incident. The house was unoccupied at the time and no one was injured.
Members of the divisional crime scene investigation unit also visited the scene while gardaí carried out door-to-door inquiries in the local area.
