Gardaí are investigating a burglary which took place in broad daylight at an Ennis family home over the bank holiday weekend.
The incident occurred on Sunday at 2.48pm at a on Park Avenue, Clon Road.
Gardaí believe the offenders used tools to gain entry through the front door of the property.
The first offender is described as wearing a bucket hat, a facemask, dark coloured top, and jeans, with the second offender wearing a cap, dark clothing and a facemask.
Clare Crime Prevention Officer Sergeant Catríona Holohan has this appeal “Gardaí in Ennis are investigating a burglary that took place at a private home on Park Avenue, Clon Road on Sunday, the 3rd August at 2.48pm. Gardaí believe the offenders used tools to gain entry through the front door of the property. Two people entered the family home. The first offender is described as wearing a bucket hat, a facemask, dark coloured top, and jeans. The second offender is described as wearing cap, dark clothing and a facemask. Both offenders were in the property for a short period before they left.
