Gardai are investigating after a man was subjected to an unprovoked assault in Lahinch.
It’s believed a young man sustained a broken nose after the attack in the North Clare town last Sunday.

The suspect wasn’t known to the victim and was possibly wearing a dark jumper at the time the incident occurred.
Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Tríona Brooks, has this appeal.
