Gardaí are investigating whether a man – whose dismembered body was found in a suitcase in a canal in Co Kildare over the weekend – was killed at a house party on Thursday night.

The victim has yet to be identified but its understood he may have been Eastern European or Irish.
It's reported a distressed woman went to Gardai in South West Dublin on Saturday afternoon with concerns that the victim was her partner.
Reporter with the Herald and Independent newspapers Conor Feehan says Gardaí are investigating this line of inquiry.
